One of the highlights of last year's festive projects was a unique collaboration with creative agency, Eye to Eye Media, for the esteemed brand, Fortnum & Mason. We were commissioned by Eye to Eye to print and construct a run of bespoke advent calendars, capturing the essence of Fortnum’s Christmas 2023 campaign.
The brand has a rich history of delivering wonder to all who walk through its Piccadilly doors – and the doors of this advent calendar were no exception. Presented in a portrait barn door format the calendar provides a visual journey into this heritage.
The combination of such a prestigious brand, the brilliant concept and stunning design work from Eye to Eye, along with the intricate illustrations from world-renowned artist Luis Mendo, brought this festive masterpiece to life.

What we did
Selected for our thorough approach and expert knowledge we ensured that intricate details, such as complex die-cutting, precise gluing and gold foiling, creating a touch of luxury as well as a festive feel unique to the brand.
Each crafted calendar underwent a printing process on our Heidelberg press, using conventional ink to accurately match the exclusive Fortnum & Mason Eau de Nil brand colour – only available from a single ink supplier. The emphasis on this method was crucial to ensure precise colour consistency.
And if that weren’t enough, the entire project has been carbon-balanced and produced on FSC Mix paper, adding an eco-friendly touch to its overall appeal.
