Founded in 1996 in Amsterdam, Booking.com has grown from a small Dutch start-up to one of the world’s leading digital travel companies.
Booking.com’s mission is to make it easier for everyone to experience the world.

Booking.com wished to automate their systems-driven direct mail offering such as account activation and lapsed customer mailings alongside voucher marketing. All these efforts were driven by online customer behaviour, seamlessly connecting the online experience with offline, tangible communications.

Booking.com's mailing activity proved to be successful when communications arrived with a customer or potential customer within six days from the point of online activity or browsing.

Booking.com partnered with Lob, and later appointed Precision Proco their sole UK print partner. We were responsible for the print and production of up to 1.5 million unique direct mail items in a combination of formats in each 24 hour period via our automated workflows and industry-leading print output technology. Each piece was then to be finished, enclosed, and mailed to reach the target customer within six working days.

The project’s success relied on seamless technology implementation through the application of technology to create seamless transfer, cleanse and submission of data and assets into Precision Procos systems via workflow integration.
