CURRENT VACANCIES

Print Scheduling Manager - Dagenham

The Scheduling Manager will have end-to-end responsibility for planning and scheduling manufacturing activity across Litho, Digital Print and Finishing, ensuring the right work is produced, on the right equipment and at the right time.

The role will provide a single point of ownership for the manufacturing schedule, balancing customer demand, machine capacity, labour, skills, materials, maintenance and production constraints to achieve OTIF, productivity, quality and cost targets.

Working closely with Production Managers, Operations, Customer Service, Quality and Engineering, the Scheduling Manager will ensure efficient flow from print through finishing and fulfilment, identifying risks and bottlenecks before they impact customers.

Print Finishers - Dagenham

We are currently seeking Print Finishers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the final stages of production, ensuring high-quality finishes on a wide range of printed products.

Duties:

  • Work in a fast paced warehouse environment to complete finishing tasks efficiently
  • Follow all site H&S regulations
  • Run and maintain technical finishing machines
  • Carry out quality checks at every stage of production
  • Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and enhance finishing processes

Experience required in running one or more of the following:

Guillotine, Folding, Stitching, Lamination, Bindery, Collation

IT Support Analyst - Sheffield

The role of the IT Support Analyst (Level 1/2) includes providing first and second-line IT support to users in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role focuses on resolving common IT incidents and service requests relating to PCs, servers, user accounts, printers, shopfloor devices, and standard business applications. The post holder will deliver excellent customer service, ensure tickets are accurately logged and progressed, and escalate issues that require deeper technical investigation to Level 3 support.

This is an on-site, hands-on position supporting both office-based users and production/shopfloor operations where system uptime and rapid response are critical.

Machine Finishing Operator - Sheffield

Precision Proco Sheffield has an exciting opportunity available for a Machine Finishing Operator. 

This role involves setting, running and maintaining relevant machinery in our Trading Cards department which includes slip stream and flow wrapper.

Cross-training on other finishing machinery will be expected.

Teamwork with your immediate colleagues and collaboration with the wider production team are essential for completing jobs to a high standard.

Experience of working on folding and manufacturing machinery is essential.

Estimator - Sheffield

Precision Proco are currently looking for someone to output timely and accurate estimates .

The successful candidate will be hard working, proactive and experienced across all areas of estimating.

This is a great opportunity to work within a friendly team and take on a new challenge in a fast-paced and exciting business.

The main duties of an Estimator are:

  • Conduct on-going review of estimating and commercial pricing using Tharstern MiS & Cost Rate Manager
  • Complete quotes with 100% accuracy and within the agreed time frame
  • Assist with monitoring and assessment of applicable print services ‘market rates’ and adjustment of pricing recommendations
  • Part of the overall customer services team, working in close harmony with field sales and production, providing a high standard of customer service at all times
