UNICEF’s Inspired Gifts range provides funding for specific items to support its charitable work. For example, this might be learning material for a child for a year, a water pump or transportation for a health worker.
The concept has proved to be a simple yet highly effective method for consumers to purchase a gift and support the charity's fundraising in an engaging and personally-rewarding way.
UNICEF needed to reinvigorate their Inspired Gifts brand to drive increased sales and subsequent fundraising. They wanted an innovative product offering that would appeal to those looking to purchase a Mother’s Day gift whilst also making a charitable donation. The gift would need to be packed and mailed within a limited time frame to arrive with the recipient for the specified date.
-
Importantly, all in all the Mother’s Day campaign was a huge success, raising over £100K for children, a 250% increase on Mother’s Day last year - which is incredible!
