The adidas brand has a long history and deep-rooted connection with sport. Its broad and diverse portfolio in both the sport performance and sport-inspired categories ranges from major global sports to regional grass root events.

adidas UK Head Office in Stockport is home to a large-scale on-site consumer centre, where all the latest footwear and apparel products are displayed in a mock shopping centre for buyers from all the major UK and Ireland retailers to preview and place orders for stock.

Each room within the centre has its own theme - Running, Football, Originals, and Outdoor, to name a few. It even has a mock high street running throughout complete with full-sized high street window displays and apparel hanging bays.

The most impressive area within the complex is the gallery - with a scale of 25 metres long by 12 metres wide by 5 metres tall, this area becomes the main focal point for all clients to walk through upon arrival.

This is where Precision Proco come in...
To provide premium, high-quality, show-stopping large-scale graphics to deliver a huge presence in line with the brand.

  • Adidas challenge the norm. They approach their project work like their world-leading apparel and footwear brand, always pushing the boundaries for what is possible, striving to do something innovative that’s never been done before, all whilst making it more sustainable for the planet. With a strapline and attitude of ‘Nothing is Impossible’ that’s exactly the thinking they adopt when briefing in a new project.

Precision Proco was tasked with dressing the large-scale room with a more personal, welcoming and active feel. You might think this a simple task but believe us it’s not!

As part of a major thoroughfare for all foot traffic coming in and out of the building including maintenance services, catering, cleaners and visitors, the space needed to be kept physically open to all. Couple this with being limited to no hard fixings into walls or floor space, no windows in the room, and full-length white metal panels running the length of each wall, the installation presented quite the challenge.

adidas tasked Precision Proco with dressing the room football themed. After much brainstorming, the final conclusions brought the team to the best 3D display they have achieved to date!

Presenting a full-sized indoor 5-a-side astroturf pitch complete with stitched-in white line details, full-size goal posts and nets, as well as advertising boards, a crowd, international kitted mannequins and to top it all off... a genuine Euro’s 2020 adidas Football taking centre stage in the centre circle.

Take a bow Precision Proco.

Compliments rang out from everyone that entered the space to say how amazing it looked and how for the first time ever...It didn’t feel like such a big empty space!
